So much has changed in one year:
* NYC was one of my fave places in the world - now I don't know if I will ever go back
* Toronto was my home and now we are in Florida
* Friends and family have taken different routes
* I used to be a food blogger & marketer and now I am launching a new platform
Change is never easy or simple but thankfully while some doors close, others open
@unspinthespin You aren't alone. pretty much same here on the checklist but So Cal to Idaho was the move. I think those who are paralyzed by change will suffer most. interesting times. Hope all goes well for you and your family in Florida.
@thedude33 Thank you so much. Wow a SoCal to Idaho move is big. I hope you and your family are enjoying it. I agree - you have to let go and move with the times.
Sending good energy and here's to better days
@unspinthespin So you have dual citizenship, since you now live in FL?
That's a heckuva move weather-wise. I'm jealous until July
I now understand the saying "may you live in interesting times" isn't necessarily as light hearted as I originally thought 😂
In fact it's traced backed to a Chinese curse
@unspinthespin Welcome to Florida!! Where the governor says we are free but people don't believe him.
I'm hosting the meet up in the upper part of the shaft. Jacksonville next Friday evening. If you are around these parts.
The good news is there are a lot of free people in Naples (at least compared to Toronto and that wouldn't be hard)
Oh I am sad! that won't work but please invite me to the next one and I will be there. My cousins live in Jacksonville.
Not here so much. I'm still witnessing masks and gloves while on nature trails with my kids. This will be my first meet up so I'm excited. I can bet there will be more in the future.
