Covid-19 is the beginning of the forever war from Nineteen Eighty-Four. The pandemic economic suppression and isolation are the war themselves. We don't need a boogeyman foreign superpower.

@progo I believe the "forever war" started back with the Korean War. The names have been changed to protect the guilty but the players are the same. There have been "peaceful" times but those were planned.
