"Spy pixels in emails" are only a "problem" because email readers wrongly show remote images by default even though they might contain a unique identifier for the reader; and users don't configure their email program for privacy.

@Pendragon if it didn't it'd be unacceptable. Are there any significant email apps or SaaS that do not allow disabling remote images by default?
