Strange. Looks like US census owns the site. The root page for that hostname redirects to a login page. I would have expected some kind of media blitz before US Census decides to send an sms blast. And... wtf are they doing now asking questions about a plague? Patching the 2020 census shit show numbers?

Same here, the root takes to a login page.
The lack of any presence on the media is what made these texts suspicious. I got 3 more text all saying "there is still time to take the survey"
To which I say, no thank you.
