This was in my kid’s school district newsletter…
The National Day of Silence is today, April 22, to protest discriminatory and harmful treatment that LGBTQIA2S+ students experience in schools across the nation. This is a student-led demonstration that began in the 1990’s by two college students. On this day, thousands of students and staff who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ and allies are taking a vow of silence for the duration of the day if they participate in this protest. (Cont)

Does anyone remember the Dutch word @adam used in the last episode (1441)? I forgot the whole thing but remember loving the meaning.

Omicron with David Bowie. @adam there are some great sound bites in here. The French made this game for Windows. How did they know? youtu.be/lmxpB1m7Umw

If you love @MelBrooks as much as I do, then you must watch this interview because his love for his wife is inspirational.

And you’ll laugh from the start.

Saddened to hear of the passing of PJ O'Rourke. Many of those honoring him are familiar with his political satire but I know him first because of his work with @CARandDRIVER @automobilemag. As a kid, I devoured these car magazines and laughed aloud from his words. RIP

A bit arduous to watch because it's a recorded YouTube live stream but this is boots-on-the-ground reporting in Ottawa interviewing people at the convoy protest. It's definitely interesting to hear the people's thoughts about what's going on in Canada.

WSJ: Spotify Takes Down Neil Young’s Music After His Joe Rogan Ultimatum

The “Heart of Gold” and “Harvest Moon” singer earlier this week penned an open letter to his manager and label asking them to remove his music from the service, saying it is spreading fake information about Covid-19 vaccines through Mr. Rogan’s show. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both,” he wrote.
Mr. Young’s record label, Warner Music Group Corp.’s Warner Records, formally requested Spotify remove the music Wednesday.

@adam @Johncdvorak I came across this video analyzing Bill Gates’ facial expressions, and you two are definitely on target about this but there’s more to it. Interesting video from a body language analyst.
