I'm not a coffee regular. I drink 3-5 servings a week, made with lower-middle-class beans in a moka pot for utilitarian reasons. I'm neither picky about it or reliant on it in my daily routine.

And I'd kill them both, first thing in the morning, on my way to microwaving yesterday's left over coffee that's still in the pot. Move, fools!
@levisan I'd say both are a little off. You should use a good process and good beans if you want a great coffee. Poor process or beans will usually make something bitter.
@mhjohnson That's what I told each of them, but both had a reductionist "this is the one thing that has to be perfect and the rest doesn't matter" stance.
