2) If possible, make automatic updates optional (disabled) by default, but able to be turned on. This way, it's completely user controlled. The ability to turn them off is key.

Overall, I dig the browser. The ability to sync to my other computers would be great—maybe something based on blockchain—but it's a solid start.

–On both the Download page and the browser's About, you should probably include the version release date.

As for keeping the browser updated:

1) Consider adding an option to have the Dissenter button receive a ping when there's a new version available for download.

Holy shit. There's a show in UK that's like COPS called 999 What's Your Emergency. Matt Christiansen covers the 4th season premier that shows them enforcing hate speech and thought crimes. Worth checking out, if only to have your jaw hit the floor at the absurdity of it.
