Free protip for al you casters out there. Encode your stream in mono. it's only half the information that needs to get encoded. So you get get double the audio-quality in the same bandwith.
@adam Congratulations on getting this far! I am thinking of backing (buying) it for VO projects (mostly online LMS courses I do for NP clients) - do you think it's overkill? I am no audio engineer and no one has (yet) complained about what I've produced, but would like to try and market VO to other potential clients.

Any uses for it other than podcasting? Obscene amounts of money spent on continuing education for lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc. The "webinars" both live/interactive and pre-recorded lectures often sound like shit. CE companies do fine, but few individual presenters know how to produce.
