the war on sugar by the MSM is part of the debasement of food @adam

I eat a low fat high carb diet (high sugar). Not a pound overweight at 52.

Everybody mindlessly parrots sugar is bad and makes you fat, while they're all getting fat supplementing their necessary calories with fat.

Others who try to live low calorie lives are starving their brains and running on caffeine hence mass neurosis.

Look what they eat in Asia, lots of rice. Are they fat?

Westerners too scared to eat carbs get fat

@Lupi @adam

Energy in vs energy out.

Having said that GI matters and should mirror how you expend energy.

Not all carbs or sugars are created equal either.

@LoopLinndrum I hear that last line repeated a lot but I see no scientific evidence to support it.

@Lupi

You haven't watched, for example, Sugar: The Bitter Truth which discusses Fructose specifically?

Have you read about why Type 2 Diabetes occurs?

Do you understand how energy is regulated, sugar is metabolized and fat is stored?

@LoopLinndrum I've heard about the great fructose conspiracy. Its propaganda and disinfo.

Type 2 diabetes is not caused by sugar either. This is what I'm talking about, this is mainstream war on sugar propaganda we've been bombarded with for the past decade and its only resulted in more diabetes and more obesity.

All sugar is half fructose and half glucose. Fruit is full of fructose. Fruit FFS. Fruit doesn't give you diabetes.

@Lupi

Except you don't consume anywhere near as much fructose eating fruit as you do eating fructose added foods or even freshly squeezed orange juice.

If you are claiming sugar doesn't play a part in T2 diabetes and insulin regulation then please post your evidence for literally any other theory.

T2 Diabetes is a very well studied ailment and there's a tremendous amount of evidence supporting sugars involvement.

Also no, not all sugar is half glucose and half fructose, that's retarded.

@LoopLinndrum that's table sugar.

I see this is going nowhere, its like talking to a maskie or covid-vaxinist

@Lupi

Nice posturing instead of actually putting some evidence or reasoning forward.

@LoopLinndrum What is the difference between table sugar and sugar?
Sugar comes in many different forms- the one most people think of sucrose, also known as cane or table sugar. Made by processing sugar cane and sugar beets, sucrose consists of glucose bound to fructose in a 1:1 ratio. Another common, maligned form of sugar is high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), synthesized from corn.5 Oct 2015

now tell me I'm retarded again

@Lupi

You're retarded.

You wrote all sugar. You've tried to retroactively insert sucrose (aka table sugar) when we weren't talking about it. We were talking about all sugar and then specifically fructose in one example.

So yeah... you're retarded.

@Lupi

In fact let's take it a step further... from your own article the conclusion is "eat less sugar" which was my point from the first.

"For all of the hubbub about added and natural sugar, the best piece of advice we have now is to simply eat less sugar, with the whole fruit as a notable exception to this rule. Ideally, our diets should be low in sugar and high in fiber, consisting primarily of fruits, vegetables and whole grains."

So yes you are a huge retard.

@LoopLinndrum go ahead starve yourself of sugar and load up on caffeine and 'healthy fats'

knock yourself out you fuck knuckle, its of no consequence to me
