Of course the conspiracy theorist in me wants to know why it will take 6 months to get any pics...

@shaunvis @Johncdvorak Keep in mind, this is an infrared telescope, and nobody really knows what the pics are going to look like. It should pick up some of the big clouds of interstellar gas, but was really designed to see very distant galaxies that are moving away so fast their light has shifted into the infrared.
