Just watched Nomadland (2020) with Frances McDormand (producer), David Strathairn. One of the most beautiful films I have seen in a long time. After losing everything in the Great Recession, a woman embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad. Amazing cinematography by Joshua James Richards. A very special music score by Ludovico Einaudi. Frances McDormand is becoming one of the great actresses of our time, I'm a huge fan. A+
@PG_Chrys I didn't see that. Check out Olive Kitridge, she was great in that too.
i will ty
first thing i ever saw her in was Blood Simple with M Emmet Walsh and Dan Hedaya.....very good film, incredible cast......Coen Bros...but how could you miss with that cast (John Goodman hadn't joined the group yet lol)
@PG_Chrys Blood Simple is a great film.
@[email protected] on Hulu I think
@JP
this sounds wonderful. i agree, this is a shallow comparison, but she did a movie (Laurel Canyon, which was lousy btw) but i was surprised at how charismatic and beautiful she was. everyone in the film was at least a decade younger, but she stole the show....gorgeous woman
